Why We Are Different
Shoreside Orthodontics specializes in high quality orthodontic care for both adults and children. Dr. James Hayosh has been creating beautiful smiles in Saint Clair Shores for over thirty years. He was one of the very first doctors in the area to implement the self-ligating bracket. This system greatly reduces the number of appointments needed while easing patient discomfort. Having utilized this bracket for over seven years, Dr. Hayosh exhibits far more experience with this system than other doctors in the area. He does NOT treat with headgears, preferring more efficient appliances that are patient friendly. We provide gentle and affordable orthodontic treatment, offering flexible interest-free payment plans.
Your First Visit
At your first visit, Dr. Hayosh will perform a thorough clinical exam to see if orthodontic treatment will be necessary, and if so, he will explain the proper time for treatment to begin. There is no charge for this initial evaluation, so please do not hesitate to call our office. Let us help you learn about all that orthodontics has to offer.
If Dr. Hayosh determines that you are ready for orthodontics, diagnostic records are scheduled to determine the best course of treatment. Complete diagnostic records typically include a medical/dental history, plaster study models of the teeth, photos of the patient's face and teeth, and X-rays. This information is used to develop a custom treatment plan for each patient. These records are also helpful in tracking the progress of treatment as the teeth move under orthodontic care.
Consultation
After the doctor has evaluated your records, we discuss your treatment with you in detail, including what to expect during treatment, as well as the cost for your particular case.
Cost
The cost of treatment depends on the severity of the patient's problem. You will be able to discuss fees and payment options before treatment begins. We have payment plans to suit different budgets, including a no interest payment plan. We also accept assignment from most insurance companies. As a courtesy to you, we will file and process the claims on your behalf.
Fees
In an effort to keep orthodontic fees down while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established this financial policy:
- If full payment is made at the onset of treatment, we will offer a fee discount.
- To fit your individual needs, financial arrangements can be made to extend your payments over a period of several months.
- For your convenience, we accept payment by VISA and MASTERCARD.
Insurance
If you have insurance, we will help you to determine the coverage you have available. We ask that you assign your insurance benefit to us. The balance will be arranged for you to pay (see above). We will help in every way we can in filing your claim and handling insurance questions from our office on your behalf.
